Undergraduate Major in Art
Education
The undergraduate major in Art Education can be accomplished
by fulfilling the requirements for the Bachelor of Fine Arts
(BFA) or Bachelor of Arts (BA)
degrees. The formatting for both programs follows with the significant
difference that the BFA requires more intensive development
in studio skills.

Graduate Offerings
Graduate programs in Art Education are offered at the
Edwardsville campus (suburban St. Louis). We currently only
offer teacher certification programs for those already holding
the bachelor's degree in studio or who possess a teaching credential
in another discipline. Plans are currently being made for the
offering of a Master of Arts in Teaching through the Dept. Curriculum
and Instruction in the College of Education and Human Services.
